Karen,
The words you wrote were more courageous than anything you probably did elsewhere. I felt your anguish in them. The betrayal, your desire to end it all.
I can relate, and I’m sure so many others can. Your sweet innocence comes across every page of the book — it never ends. On every page I had the urge to reach out and protect you, to save you from the insanity.
The way you weave your journey with God, your amazing accomplishments as a pioneer female athlete, and your brutal journey with dysfunctional men, is difficult to read, but even more difficult to put down.
I honestly read it non-stop.
Bravo.
